1. Free Tournament Offer
Free Texas Hold'em hyper-turbo tournament every Thur, Fri, Sat at 8pm; any and all student players can enter for free (no money required)
All players will be given 25 starting chips (five red chips)
Each player can rebuy only one time for $5 (optional); the rebuy gets you 25 chips
There are no other add-ons
Tournament cannot start until at least 5 players are present - dealer can play but dealer is not eligible for the Grand Prize nor can they be counted toward the 5 players
Dealer instructor may cancel the tournament at any time or for any reason
Play starts at 8pm (or when there are 5 players) and unlimited new participants can be added until the tournament is three handed; except if a player(s) busts and this creates the final three, the busted player(s) may still re-buy if they have not done so already
Otherwise, one time re-buys not allowed once there are only three players left
Blinds go up every 5 minutes and start at 5/10, then move up to 10/20, then 20/40, then 40/40 - doubling effectively every 5 minutes
1st place earns a chance at winning $1, $5, $10, $20, or $50
A wallet purse with each dollar amount listed above will be set out for the 1st place winner to pick from
1st place also wins 3 points, 2nd place wins 2 points, and 3rd place wins 1 point on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
The first person to get to 25 points will win a grand prize of $500
No FBX Poker School teachers (including the dealer) can win the Free Points Tournament Grand Prize of $500 - they must forfeit the prize to the next eligible winner
$500 grand prize may or may not be awarded in September; contest may go into October, November, or beyond - until at least one person earns 25 points
Once the $500 prize has been won, the Daily Free Tournament will not be worth points until the start of the following month (example: someone earns 25 points on October 14, 2025 and wins the $500 - the rest of October there will be no points awarded - points will be reset and awarded again starting November 1, 2025)
If more than one person reaches 25 points (or more) at the same time or otherwise ties, all players who get to 25 points on the same night will split the $500 grand prize evenly; it does not matter if someone has more points than person (e.g. 26 vs 28), just as long as each person has reached at least 25 points (both 26 and 28 point earners win and split)
All money wins, including the $500 grand prize, must be played and practiced with for a minimum of 30 minutes at the same night social game
FBX Poker School has adapted Mohegan Sun Poker Room Poker Rules and will closely follow those posted rules
Any dispute will be decided by the FBX Poker School Tournament Director Nate H. unless said person is in a hand; in that case, disputes will be decided by FBX Poker School Assistant Director Tony C.
2. Special Offer: Christmas Gift Giveaway
Every practice (social) game will begin with a "gift chip" placed in the pot of the first hand
The "gift chip" will have a value of whatever the big blind is for the hand / game
Whoever wins the first hand, wins the "gift chip" and may use it to pay their next or any following unraised big blind
Once used, the "gift chip" is part of the pot and no longer belongs to the user, unless they also win that pot
Whoever wins the pot with the "gift chip" can then use it for their next unraised blind, a following unraised blind, or keep it in their stack
A player may only use the "gift chip" to pay an unraised blind or to go "all in"
If a player goes all-in, the "gift chip" is included and calculated as the same value as the big blind for the hand / game
Starting at 10pm (or top of the next hour if the game didn't start at 10pm), whoever has the "gift chip" may redeem the "gift chip" for an actual gift or keep the "gift chip" in their stack to be used for the same value as an unraised blind
The "gift chip" can be redeemed for a gift anytime between 10pm and the end of the game
Once the "gift chip" is redeemed, it is no longer in play and no longer has any value
At the end of the game, if the "gift chip" is still in play, it can be cashed out for the same value as the big blind or it can be redeemed at that time for a gift
If the "gift chip" is redeemed for a gift, the gifts from which to choose are valued from $5 to $15
3. High Hand Offer
Every student from December 4th to December 28th that gets a full house or better is eligible to win a prize
Student MUST text their NAME and a PHOTO of their high hand to (252) 508-9114 within 10 minutes of getting their full house or better
Must win High Hand with a full house or better
Both hole cards of the student player must be used
Student player must make it to a showdown unless their opponents fold (can win High Hand before the river)
FBX Poker School dealers will confirm all high-hands texted to (252) 508-9114
Best High Hand at the end of the night (whenever the game ends) will win $100 in practice chips for the next play night as long as they return by 10pm the next play night
If not present by 10pm the very next Texas Hold'em game night, $100 prize money is forfeited (for example: won "best high hand" on Saturday, must play the following Thursday by 10pm)
Practice chips awarded must be played for 30 minutes
Student players can forgoe the $100 in practice chips for a more immediate end-of-night payout of $50 (and no need to play them for 30 minutes)
High Hands are being tracked on the FBX Poker School website
No high hands will be awarded before December 4, 2025 and no more high hands prizes will be awarded after December 28, 2025
4. Ladies Night Offer
Thursday December 4th will be "Ladies Night"
Free lessons will be offered at 7pm to all ladies who RSVP by text to (252) 508-9114 at least 24 hours in advance
All women who play in the practice game AND who text the (252) 508-9114 will get between $0 and $100 in chips to play in the practice game
Practice chip amount awarded will be determined by use of a Plinko Board with a maximum prize of $100
Player gets three disks to use on the Plinko Board and must put only one disk down the shoot at a time
The disk that lands on the best slot of three wins prize shown in pennies (example: 10,000 slot equals a prize of $100)
Practice chips must be played for at least 30 minutes and cannot be sold, traded, exchanged, or given-away
All ladies present and playing during the social game and who texted the FBX Poker School phone number will be receive a glass of wine and/or chocolate (as supplies allow)

7. All Tournaments and Practice Games Can be Played for Free
All tournaments and practice (social) games can be played for free. How? Well, the Free Points Tournament is already free. So, going further, we will give $10 to any brand new (never played with us before) player who requests to play the practice (social) game. Any returning player who requests to play the practice (social) game for free can be given $2, $3, or $5 (whatever the big blind is). The request to play for free can only be made once per night and only at the beginning of the players play (first chips they play must be the free play). New players can buy in for additional practice chips after they use their $10. Returning players are not allowed to buy in again if they chose to accept our big blind free play. There is no real incentve for returners to play for free. But, they can play for free as advertised if they really wanted to. Finally, anyone who wants to play our Big Quarterly Tournament can do so by requesting free chips equivalent to one big blind. If they choose this option, they can still buy into the tournament but will be docked one big blind from their starting stack. Free play is only allowed during the first level of play.

1. Free Tournament Offer
FBX Poker School will host a Free Points Tournament every Thur, Fri, Sat at 8pm; any and all student players can enter without any money required
All players who text the business phone number (252-508-9114) will be given 10 starting chips (ten white chips); student playes must text their name in order to enter the tournament
Each player can rebuy only one time for $5 (optional); the rebuy gets the player 10 chips
There are no other add-ons or rebuys allowed
Tournament cannot start until at least 5 players are present - dealer can play but dealer is not counted toward the 5 players
Dealer instructor may cancel the tournament at any time and for any reason
Play starts at 8pm (or when there are 5 players) and unlimited new participants can be added until the tournament is three handed; except if a player(s) busts and this creates the final three, the busted player(s) may still re-buy if they have not done so already
Otherwise, one time re-buys not allowed once there are only three players left
Blinds go up every 7 minutes and start at 1/2, then move up to 2/4, then 4/8, then 8/16 - doubling effectively every 7 minutes
1st place wins all the re-buy money in the pot
1st place also wins 3 points, 2nd place wins 2 points, and 3rd place wins 1 point
Student players can let their points accumulate until they decide to exchange thier points for the following prizes:
5 points = $20 cash
10 points = $50 restaruant gift card
25 points = $120 cash
50 points = $300 restaraunt gift cards
100 points = $500 cash grand prize
Once a certain number of points, or all the student player's points are redeemed, they are traded in for the prize selected and are no longer in the student player's accumulation of points (like a bank)
There are no limit to the number of prizes a student player can win - as long as they have the points to exchange
Points cannot be sold, traded, given away, or otherwise transfered from one student player to another
A courtesy card will be given to each student player who wins points but the official record of points won and redeemed will be tracked on-line at www.fbxpokerschool.com
No FBX Poker School teachers (including the dealer) can win the Free Points Tournament Grand Prize of $500
Points expire July1, 2026 or when someone wins the grand prize; student players can continue to accumulate thier points until July 1, 2026 but points will lose all value if one player earns 100 points and selects to recieve the grand prize

Starting in November 2025, at the top of each hour on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, FBX Poker School will have a $10 "Bomb Pot"
The "Bomb Pot", starting at 9pm, will alternate each hour, with the first hour being a "safety" bomb pot and the next hour being a "no safety" bomb pot
Bomb pots are limited to one per hour
Safety bomb pots will be played at the top of the hour, every other hour
No Safety bomb pots will be played at the top of the hour, every other hour
Schedule will look like this: 9pm: "safety" - 10pm: "no safety" - 11pm: "safety" etc.
Every person present and playing in the social game by 9pm will be eligible to be bought in by FBX Poker School for EVERY "safety" bomb pot each Friday night at 9pm
Person must be present and have played the previous hand (if there was one) before the "safety" bomb pot to be eligible for the free "safety" bomb pot buy-in
Limit one $10 buy-in per person eligible per hand
If the social / practice game has not started by 9pm, there will be no free bomb pot - social game must have started by 9pm for anyone to be eligible for the free "safety" bomb pot

The Thursday before Thanksgiving (November 20, 2025) starting at 10:30pm and ending at 12:30am - FBX Poker School will throw a $25 grocery store gift card in one "splash pot" each hour for that person to buy a Thanksgiving turkey or other food of their choice
"Splash pot" will be done a total of three times November 20, 2025 starting at 10:30pm, then 11:30pm, and finally 12:30am

Total of three Thanksgiving Baskets to be awarded, including the week of November 6th, the week of November 13th, and the week of November 20th
