$100 Texas Hold'em w/ 1st hour rebuys

• $100 buy-in to play in the tournament 

• All $100 initial buy-ins goes to the prize pool; $60 re-buys also all go to the prize pool

• Each player gets 10,000 chips with initial $100 buy-in

• 6 red chips, 2 blue chips, 1 purple chips (red = 500, blue = 1000, purple = 5000)

• An optional $20 'Dealer Appreciation Add-On' for 5,000 extra starting chips pre-tourney is available 

• No rake or cut taken by FBX Poker School 

• Winners take nearly all the prize pool money (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place paid)

• FBX Poker School will use a small portion of the prize pool to purchase food and will save 10% of prize pool for World Poker Tour / Word Series of Poker promotion payout

• All add-on money will go to the prize pool except "Dealer Appreciation"

• 1st Place wins 50% of total prize pool, 2nd Place wins 25%, and 3rd Place wins 15%  with 10% saved for the World Series of Poker / World Poker Tour prize payout

• Chip leader at the start of the first break and before any add-ons will be awarded 100 points toward the WSOP / WPT grand prize 

• 2nd place chip leader at the start of the first break will be awarded 75 points toward the WSOP / WPT grand prize

• 3rd place chip leader at the start of the first break will be awarded 50 points toward the WSOP / WPT grand prize

• 4th place chip leader at the start of the first break will be awarded 25 points toward the WSOP / WPT grand prize

• In the event of a tie, equal points will be awarded to both players (not divided) 

• Players who re-bought one or more times are still eligible for points (but no "add-on" chips after the 1st break has started will be counted)

• World Poker Tour / World Series of Poker grand prize will we awarded to highest point earner after four months of play (August, September, October, November)

• Grand prize consists of a $500 buy-in to the World Poker Tour at the Wynn Las Vegs in December 2025 plus $250 credit toward airfare OR $500 buy-in to the World Series of Poker at the Horseshoe Casino in June 2026 plus $250 airfare credit

• 15 minute blind levels for the 1st hour

- 500/500, 500/500,  500/500, 500/500

- Small Blind and Big Blind both post every hand

• FBX Poker School has adapted Mohegan Sun Poker Room Poker Rules and will closely follow those posted rules

• Any dispute will be decided by the Tournament Director Nate H. unless said person is in a hand; in that case, disputes will be decided by FBX Poker School Assistant Tony C.

• Brand new players may enter the game up until the end of the 1st major break (break begins after one hour of play)

• $60 unlimited rebuys are allowed for first one hour of play and until the 1st major break  ($60 = 10,000 chips)

• However, if there is a wait-list, a player may only rebuy one time without being put at the end of the wait-list; if there is no wait-list, a player may rebuy as many times as they want

• A player who paid the initial $100 and busts for the first time, may sit out and then rebuy at anytime before the end of the 1st major break, as long as there is room at a table and no wait list; if there is a wait-list and they don't immediately rebuy, they must be put on the wait-list

• FBX Poker School can only accommodate a certain number of players at a time; in the event there are more than 18 players to start (8 players plus dealer at each of the two tables we have available), those who RSVP’d and paid the $100 before Saturday will be seated first, followed by those who RSVP'd but did not prepay; others who are waiting will be then be put on the wait-list and rotated in when other players bust out and quit

• New and wait-list players may enter the tournament during the first hour of play (before the start of the first break); after the first hour of play, each wait-list player (and only wait-list players),  whether new or bebuy, may enter, but only once, to get into the tournament or back into the tournament

• The wait-list is closed at the start of the 1st major break; no new entries or reentries will be added to the wait-list during the 1st major break

• A player who paid the initial $100 and busts out before the 1st major break may a) quit the tournament b) buy back in immediately for $100 if this was their first bust out  c) may sit out after busting the first time, get on the wait-list, and then rebuy as long as it is before the end of the 1st major break d) may re-buy after busting out a second, third, fourth, fifth . . . time only by being put on the wait-list e)  after the first hour of play (until the first break), each wait-list player (and only wait-list players),  whether new or reentering, may enter, but only once, to get into the tournament or back into the tournament

• After 1 hour of play, but only during the break, last rebuys are permitted and optional Add-ons will be available for purchase

• There are three (get one, two, or all three), one-time optional add-ons that can be purchased during the break:

-$20 add-on for 5,000 extra chips (optional) - Dealer Appreciation Add-on - Optional

-$50 add-on for 10,000 extra chips (optional)

-$100 add-on for 20,000 extra chips (optional)

• All non Dealer Appreciation add-on money will go to prize pool

• Players can purchase any number of add-ons

• Tourney resumes after the 1st major break

• No more rebuys after the 1st major break

• No new  or returning players will be permitted to play after the 1st major break except those who were on the waitlist prior to the start of the break

• Anyone who wants to play and who is on the waitlist prior to the end of the 1st major break must pay their $100 re-buy and optional add-on fees before the end of the 1st major break

• All prize pool money will b counted and award amounts determined for the winners before the end of the 1st major break 

• The waitlist is closed at the end of the 1st major break; no new entries or reentries will be added to the waitlist at the end of the 1st major break

• Blinds continue in 15 minute intervals

-1k/2k, 1K/2k, 1k/2k, 1k/2k

• After 2 hours of play there is a 2nd major break

• Blinds continue in 15 minute intervals

-2k/4k, 3k/6k, 4k/8k,  5k/10k, Double***

We are preparing Fairbanks to play in the World Poker Tour (WPT) and / or World Series of Poker (WSOP)!

• Starting 3:00pm Saturday August 16, 2025

• Continuing each 3rd Saturday in September, October, and November

• Chip leader at the start of the first break will be awarded 100 points toward the WSOP / WPT grand prize

• 2nd place chip leader at the start of the first break will be awarded 75 points toward the WSOP / WPT grand prize

• 3rd place chip leader at the start of the first break will be awarde 50 points toward the WSOP / WPT grand prize

• 4th place chip leader at the start of the first break will be awarde 25 points toward the WSOP / WPT grand prize

• Grand Prize will be awarded to whowever has the most points on November 15, 2025

• Grand Prize will consist of a single buy-in up to $500 to any event in the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas in December 2025 OR the World Series of Poker at Horseshoe Casino Las Vegas June 2025

• In addition, the Grand Prize winner will also recieve a $250 airfare credit

• The Grand Prize winner can elect to take a $500 cash pay-out in lieu of the WPT / WSOP award (forfeiting the airfare credit)

• The Grand Prize will be awarded November 15, 2025
