Terry Family Charity Tournament (Texas Hold'em w/ re-buys):
$100 initial buy-in all goes to the prize pool; $100 re-buys also all go to the prize pool
6 red chips, 2 blue chips, 1 purple chips (red = 500, blue = 1000, purple = 5000)
Each player gets 10,000 chips with initial $100 buy-in
An optional $40 'Charity Add-On' for 5,000 extra starting chips pre-tourney is available
Winners take all the prize pool money (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place paid)
No rake (cut) by FBX Poker School except FBX Poker School will use a small portion of the prize pool to purchase food
All add-on money will go to charity (The Terry Family)
1st Place wins 50% of total prize pool, 2nd Place wins 30%, and 3rd Place wins 20%
15 minute blind levels for the 1st hour
- 500/500, 500/500, 500/500, 500/500
- Small Blind and Big Blind both post every hand
FBX Poker School has adapted Mohegan Sun Poker Room Poker Rules and will closely follow those posted rules
Any dispute will be decided by the Tournament Director Nate H. unless said person is in a hand; in that case, disputes will be decided by FBX Poker School Assistant Tony C.
Brand new players may enter the game up until the end of the 1st major break (break begins after one hour of play)
$100 unlimited rebuys and optional $40 'Charity Add-Ons' are allowed for first one hour of play and until the 1st major break ($100 = 10,000 chips, $140 = 15,000 chips)
However, if there is a waitlist, a player may only rebuy one time without being put at the end of the waitlist; if there is no waitlist, a player may rebuy as many times as they want
A player who paid the initial $100 and busts for the first time, may sit out and then rebuy at anytime before the end of the 1st major break, as long as there is room at a table and no wait list; if there is a waitlist, they must be put on the waitlist
FBX Poker School can only accommodate a certain number of players at a time; in the event there are more than 18 players to start, those who RSVP’d and paid $100 will be seated first; others who are waiting will be rotated in when other players bust out and quit
New and waitlist players may enter the tournament during the first hour of play; after the first hour of play, each waitlist player (and only waitlist players) may enter, but only once, to get into the tournament or back into the tournament
The waitlist is closed at the end of the 1st major break; no new entries or reentries will be added t the waitlist at the end of the 1st major break
A player who paid the initial $100 and busts out before the 1st major break may a) quit the tournament b) buy back in immediately for $100 if this was their first bust out c) may sit out after busting the first time, get on the waitlist, and then rebuy as long as it is before the end of the 1st major break d) may re-buy after busting out a second, third, fourth, fifth . . . time only by being put on the waitlist
After 1 hour of play, last rebuys are permitted and another optional 'Charity Add-On' period begins with a break
There are two, one-time optional add-ons that can be purchased during the break:
-$40 add-on for 5,000 extra chips (optional)
-$60 add-on for 20,000 extra chips (optional)
All add-on money will go to charity (The Terry Family)
Players can purchase one or both add-ons; if both, the cost is $100 for 25,000 extra chips
Tourney resumes after the 1st major break
No more rebuys after the 1st major break
No new or returning players will be permitted to play after the 1st major break except those who were on the waitlist prior to the end of the break
Anyone who wants to play and who is on the waitlist prior to the end of the 1st major break must pay their $100 re-buy and optional add-on fees before the end of the 1st major break
All prize pool money will b counted and award amounts determined for the winners before the end of the 1st major break
The waitlist is closed at the end of the 1st major break; no new entries or reentries will be added to the waitlist at the end of the 1st major break
Blinds continue in 15 minute intervals
-1k/2k, 1K/2k, 1k/2k, 1k/2k
After 2 hours of play there is a 2nd major break

Continuing each 1st Saturday in September, October, and November
A single buy-in up to $1,000 to any event in the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas will be given as the Grand Prize
The Grand Prize winner can elect to take a $500 cash pay-out in lieu of the WPT award
The Grand Prize will be awarded November 1, 2025
Each month will be a $25 buy-in with a one time re-buy of $25 allowed
A one-time initial add-on for $10 as a 'Dealer Appreciation' will be offered
No rake, no lesson fees, the winners will take home the entire prize pool
Play starts promptly at 6:15pm and ends at 7:45pm exactly - unless winners are made beforehand, whoever has the most chips at 7:45pm will be declared the winners
1st place will recieve 45% of prize pool, 2nd place 30%, and third place 15%
10% will be put into a reserve for the Grand Prize
The 1st place winner the 1st month will also recieve 100 points toward the Grand Prize, the 2nd place winner will recieve 50 points, 3rd place 25 points, and every other entrant will recieve 10 points
The points will increase by 50% (+/- rounded) each month so that the 2nd month (September) the 1st place winner will recieve 150 points toward the Grand Prize, the 2nd place winner will recieve 75 points, 3rd place 38 points, and every other entrant will recieve 15 points
The thrid month (October) the 1st place winner will recieve 225 points toward the Grand Prize, the 2nd place winner will recieve 113 points, 3rd place 56 points, and every other entrant will recieve 23 points
The 4th and final month (November) the 1st place winner will recieve 338 points toward the Grand Prize, the 2nd place winner will recieve 169 points, 3rd place 84 points, and every other entrant will recieve 34 points
