• $40 first buy in = 10,000 chips

• $40 additional rebuys for first 90 minutes of play = 10,000 chips

• 15-minute blinds

• $20, $40, or $60 add-on at break = 10,000 per $10 used

• First, second, and third place are paid

• First 50%, Second 30%, Third 20%

• Food and beverages provided

• FBX Poker School will not withhold any of the tournament funds in play. Instead, there will be 3 separate opportunities to tip the dealers which will not contribute to the prize pool.

  • A) Start of tourney $20 Dealer Appreciation Tip for an extra 10,000 starting chips

  • B) During add-ons, additional $20 Dealer Appreciation Tip for an extra 40,000 add-on chips

  • C) At the end of the tourney, any remaining students may voluntarily choose to add additional tip value

April Fools 2026 Hold'em Tournament

We are preparing Fairbanks to play in the World Poker Tour (WPT) and / or World Series of Poker (WSOP)!

• Starting 3:00pm Saturday August 16, 2025

• Continuing each 3rd Saturday in September, October, and November

• Chip leader at the start of the first break will be awarded 100 points toward the WSOP / WPT grand prize

• 2nd place chip leader at the start of the first break will be awarded 75 points toward the WSOP / WPT grand prize

• 3rd place chip leader at the start of the first break will be awarde 50 points toward the WSOP / WPT grand prize

• 4th place chip leader at the start of the first break will be awarde 25 points toward the WSOP / WPT grand prize

• Grand Prize will be awarded to whowever has the most points on November 15, 2025

• Grand Prize will consist of a single buy-in up to $500 to any event in the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas in December 2025 OR the World Series of Poker at Horseshoe Casino Las Vegas June 2025

• In addition, the Grand Prize winner will also recieve a $250 airfare credit

• The Grand Prize winner can elect to take a $500 cash pay-out in lieu of the WPT / WSOP award (forfeiting the airfare credit)

• The Grand Prize will be awarded November 15, 2025

• Sat February 28, 2026: doors open at 4pm, play begins at 5pm

• $100 buy-in, $50 add-on at the door

• 100 tickets sold / 100 players max

• Food and cash bar

• Event held at Gather (714 3rd Avenue, Fairbanks, AK, United States, 99701) 

•  Best High Hand at the end of each Texas Hold'em night (whenever the game ends) will win a $100 entry into the C-Note Tournament
